Petition to stop the new Village Hall

Tuesday, July 14, 2015

Online

We the voters and interested parties in the Village of Maiden Rock, oppose the building of a new village hall, especially in the Playground, and recommend the board use no more public monies for the pursuit of a new village hall. It is vital that we do not build a building in the only area that is safe for our children to play. The Playground is the only sacred thing for our children to do where they are not next to the train tracks or by the lake. Our village is small, but is growing in number with children of all ages who use this playground on a daily basis, as well as the many visitors and tourists who come through.
